Pat Boone er en amerikansk skuespiller, sanger, forfatter og sangskriver. Han blev født den 1. juni 1934 i Jacksonville, Florida. Pat Boone er bedst kendt for sin karriere inden for underholdningsindustrien, hvor han har haft succes som musiker og skuespiller.

Uddannelse og tidlige karriere

Pat Boone blev uddannet på David Lipscombe College, North Texas State College og Columbia University. Han modtog sin bachelorgrad i naturvidenskab fra Columbia University i 1958. Hans karriere inden for underholdning startede, da han var vært for et talentshow for teenagere i radioen og på tv i Nashville, Tennessee. Han vandt også priser ved forskellige amatørshows som Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour og Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts.

Musikkarriere

Hans første professionelle indspilning blev lavet i 1955, og han blev medlem af ASCAP i 1961 med Ernest Gold som sin vigtigste musikalske samarbejdspartner. • Cousin of Richard Boone and Randy Boone.
• He badly wanted to play the lead role in The Sand Pebbles (1966), but director Robert Wise wanted Steve McQueen instead.
• Former next door-neighbor of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne. His cover of CrazyTrain was used as the theme for The Osbournes (2002).
