• Apart from her successful acting career, she has been very successful with her commercial film careers. Most notably, her Pocari Sweat commercial film was a big sensation in South Korea.
• As of 2018, she has practiced pilates for 10 years and holds pilates instructors certificate.
• She owns two buildings in Seoul, Sydkorea.
• She swims for her exercises.
• In 2006, she won the Best Actress Award for her role in April Snow at 51st Asia Pacific Film Festival and she won the Best Actress Award in foreign film at 15th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.
• In 2000, she enrolled in Seoul Art University but shortly after dropped it out for her acting career.
• In 2007, she won the Best Actress Award for her role in Alone in Love at 43rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
